This MFP is replacing a color laserjet MFP that was excessively costly to replace toner cartridges and we always had faxing problems, especially receiving.

I can scan up to 50 pages straight to PDF. I've heard complaints about software instillation but I guess people can't read and interpret things well.

Only criticism is I have to print checks using the rear output tray because of curling which I did not have to on the previous printer but not a big issue.

If you don't know that trick, google it. Seems there are a lot of faithful HP owners out there that won't give HP up. If you use it with a Mac, don't bother using the included software and drivers; download the updated versions from the Brother website.

It was easy to setup and configure. I am very pleased with image quality when scanning and copying.
