I have spent the last 2 months looking kj-850s, downloading everything I can find from Microsoft and Sony and reading all the possible solutions, but have not figured it out yet. It was workin' before then suddenly it stopped.

Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-850S Not working

These run from 99 to 25 bucks. I have tried the registry thing, and it only had upper filters so i deleed it and nothing happened.

I set the SilentInstall value from 1 to 0 and it worked. I have always had some problems with the drive and would often have to reinstall the driver.
